If the client is not paying for AI-generated copy, then it’s an absolute no, right? The client is hiring my skills and experience. That’s just my opinion.

Not sure I’d lump copywriting in acceptable use. Maybe proofreading, but I don’t believe AI is at the point where it can generate effective copy.
