LOTR if he hasn’t read it yet. I remember reading Momo by Michael Ende at 14 or 15. The villains are men in grey who swindle people by convincing them to deposit their free time in a time saving bank and it still impacts the way I think about spending free time.

I love his use of light, the luminous look that was a trademark of his posters.
