Corporations aren’t going to regulate themselves.
Billionaires aren’t going to tax themselves.
The system isn’t going to change itself.

That’s why we fight to put working class leaders in office: so we can have a government that cares for ALL of us, not just the richest of us.

Democrats need to stand firm and fight for a funding bill that keeps families on their health care.
workingfamilies.org
If Republicans get their way, tens of millions will lose their care, premiums will explode, and funding for life-saving cancer research will go away.
workingfamilies.org
Trump and the Republicans are choosing to shut down the government and withhold paychecks from federal workers, all so they can take away money for health care and give it to billionaires.

Immigrants.
LGBTQ+ people.
“Woke.”

Billionaires want us blaming and fighting each other so we don’t realize we’re all on the same side. It’s not left vs. right, it’s regular people vs. the billionaires.

Rep. Casar is right.

Tens of millions of working people and their families are going to lose their health care.

Democrats need to fight with everything they have to make sure that doesn't happen.

Hell no.

We don't need a delay and a pinky promise to negotiate -- we need a deal that keeps the government open and saves health care for Americans. I'm in D.C. ready to vote for that.

Republicans have refused to come to the table for months. Why would Democrats acting weak change their behavior?
Scoop: Schumer floats shutdown fix
Schumer and Senate Democrats are starting to think about how to get out of a shutdown if one happens.

🗓️ Next pro forma session: Tuesday, 9/30 at 12 PM.

Seating Grijalva isn’t just about Arizona — her vote would be the final signature needed to force action on the Epstein files.

Enough delays.
Seat Grijalva NOW.

Less than 24 hours after his win, Rep. Walkinshaw (VA-11) was sworn in.
So why is Johnson blocking Grijalva?

No excuses. No double standard. The people of AZ-07 deserve their seat.

🚨 It’s been SIX months since the people of Arizona’s 7th District had representation in Congress.

Speaker Mike Johnson is dragging his feet on seating Congresswoman-elect Adelita Grijalva.

It doesn’t matter what the job is.

If you give your full time labor to work, you should be paid enough to afford a decent life and build toward a better future.

Kimmel isn't being punished for what he said last week.

He's being punished for speaking out for years about Trump, including Trump trying to kick millions of Americans off their health care.

This is what's at stake: the ability of Americans to speak out against the billionaire takeover.

This isn’t about right versus left.

It’s about a thin-skinned leader who can’t stand the idea that someone might disagree with him.

His attacks on free speech need to end.
workingfamilies.org
There is no free country without the freedom of speech. It’s one of our founding principles.

But Donald Trump wants to be able to cancel, deplatform, or deport anyone who looks at him in the wrong way.

WGA Statement on ABC’s Decision to Pull Jimmy Kimmel Live!
The right to speak our minds and to disagree with each other - to disturb, even - is at the very heart of what it means to be a free people. It is not to be denied. Not by violence, not by the abuse of governmental power, nor by acts of corporate cowardice.
As a Guild, we stand united in opposition to anyone who uses their power and influence to silence the voices of writers, or anyone who speaks in dissent. If free speech applied only to ideas we like, we needn't have bothered to write it into the Constitution. What we have signed on to - painful as it may be at times - is the freeing agreement to disagree.
Shame on those in government who forget this founding truth. As for our employers, our words have made you rich.
Silencing us impoverishes the whole world.
The WA stands with Jimmy Kimmel and his writers.

Split a donation between the Working Families Party and Mai Vang's campaign to get her into office: secure.actblue.com/donate/email...
workingfamilies.org
The proud daughter of Hmong refugees, Mai Vang is a lifelong South Sacramento resident and product of the public school system.

Vang’s campaign is rejecting corporate PAC money and is funded by the people.
workingfamilies.org
Her opponent has been in office for 20 years and doesn't hold town halls or meet with people.

In office, Mai Vang will be there for you when you need her.
workingfamilies.org
We need energetic and passionate members of Congress who will fight for working people. As an elected leader, Mai has:

-expanded health care access
-led policy initiatives for immigrant and refugee families
-helped establish a fund that gives millions to kids living in poverty
