Black or Swamp Wallaby in Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park north of Sydney Australia. Over 30 bird species seen hiking the Bairne and Soldiers Point Trail. Chestnut-rumped Heathwrens were the highlight of the morning and a few #mammals. #wildoz #birds #Sydney

A recent morning #birding at Sydney Olympic Park yielded over 60 species. Not bad for an area in the heart of #sydney #australia. Here is a Little Egret among the Chestnut Teals and a sneaky Buff-banded Rail #birds

Birding in Brisbane, Australia recently and visited Sandy Camp Wetlands - a great birding spot. Saw my first lifer for 2025 - a family of sneaky Pale-vented Bush-hens. A great variety of species present - including this obliging Magpie Goose
