Just got these new window clings in. I am collaborating with Wandering Free and Queer to distribute them to queer friendly businesses. I will also have them for sale soon.

Made a graphic for an out of state event. Sorry to @wilwheaton.net His pic was on the website as I took a screen shot. I had little control over what happened next. Important take aways are, I will be @ Rose City Comic Con in Sept, & I’m not great at drawing people, so I improvised w/ a robotic arm

I have some catching up to do with my book blanket. I’ve been busy, so the hexagons have dropped in priority. Here is the one for the book Sadie. I have now made a mental note to try to stop reading books with black, white, and red covers. I have three with this color combination. 📚💙

Restocked my popular buttons for this weekend. Find us at Making Local in Bothell on Saturday and the Everett Farmer’s Market on Sunday.

Yesterday I hung my art for “Words on Birds” at Ugly Baby in Seattle.

If you are in the area of Pike Place Market, go check it out! I will be there in person for the Bell Town Artwalk on Friday from 6-9.

In May (or just after the first of May), I will be showing my bird paintings. I am calling it Words on Birds. I hope you will come check them out

Ugly Baby is a fun shop on Western (back side of Pike Place Market). I will be there on May 9 for Art Walk

I have a secret. I have been taking a mini break from my normal illustrations & fiber art and I have been painting. Today I dropped one off at Ben Franklin’s in Monroe for a mini art show

This is just one of many. I be displaying them at Ugly Baby in May

Finished The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn. I struggled through it even on audio, not a fan. On to better things, I can now read James. 💙📚

I also don't like the cover on this one either... which i am guessing is a classic audio book thing. But, alas, here is another hexi

I read The Pairing by Casey McQuiston & I need a break from RomComs. I really enjoyed Red, White, & Royal Blue. But I was not a fan of this book. I wasn’t feeling any chemistry between the main characters, so the spiciness fell flat for me

Sadly, I don’t like the cover colors either for my hexi

This is probably my favorite Abby Jimenez book so far. I was crying. And bonus, it makes for a colorful hexagon!

Sharing my April Market schedule here. It’s a light month, but we have a lot happening in the background.

Another hexi done & another book finished. I believe Internment might be a young adult book, but it doesn't matter. I really enjoyed it (as much as you can enjoy such a topic), but it hit a little close to home as Trump embarks on his 2nd presidency (this was published in 2019). 📚💙

I just thought I would share a picture of my coworker. It’s like being on a group project and having to do all the work… but you let it happen because your partner is cute. Just me?

When B&N offered this as their $5 book, it was a yes for me. I enjoyed it, but wanted to connect with it more. Maybe because I would have made different choices than the main character

Another hexagon for the #bookblanket. I just noticed an extra row of stitches, but that is future me’s problem

Finished Tom Sawyer on audio. Currently listening to The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, all so I can read James

Another hexagon done. I don’t usually read this much. I’m sure I will slow down as market season is approaching. It’s been nice to escape into a book lately 📚💙

I had no idea what this book was about when I picked it up. Ended up really loving it. I am still thinking about the characters.

And another hexagon has been added. 📚💙

Market season is upon us, sharing my March market schedule here too.

I still haven’t figured out how to completely get away from my instagram for online marketing.

Open to any pointers and suggestions. No FB or TT makes it even harder.

Another hexagon done. This was my second book by Jodi Picoult & I think I can now call myself a fan. Such a good book even with the heavy subject matter. Love that she covers heavy subjects from all sides. But I think my next book will need to be a little lighter.

And my last book for February. This is the first book this year to make me ugly cry. I loved this book. When Stars Rain Down was just a book I chose because it was by a black author. It is so much more.

And the simple cover made a pretty hexagon. This is. Book 9 for the year

Last day of Black History Month & I hope this book stays with me. It’s been on my TBR for a while & I’m glad I finally read it. Reading this book in conjunction with my other book, When Stars Rain Down has been an experience I needed

Everyday is a good day to learn and grow 📚💙

People We Meet On Vacation. I enjoyed it, but I had some high expectations. Here is the hexagon. Now that I have finished books I started before February (slow reader), I am finally moving on to my black authors I bought specifically for this month. At my pace, they will for sure bleed into March 📚💙
