@captmarkkelly.bsky.social I admire your action. As just an old Royal Marine from 50 years ago I am shocked by the lack of backbone of senators down. I fear a civil war like I experienced in N.Ireland.

@slotkin.senate.gov Tom Snyder asked an audience if they were willing to die for democracy. No one put up my their hand. He said “you are not ready”. Civil war in Ireland in ‘70s & ‘80s was no fun. I have a hard time getting people to think. They have no awareness of the danger.

@slotkin.senate.gov hi Elissa, as a Brit here for 21 years, former Royal Marine, regularly in Northern Ireland in the ‘70s. In Wyoming now. I am a member of several groups but they don’t understand where this is possibly going. I have advised a few on self defence from car jacking. Sit up, listen!
