Don't put to much weight on it. It's a small splinter community that was created about 3 or so years ago in response to major dissatisfaction at the r/Minecraft moderation back then. Almost instantly it turned into a rumor mill and conspiracy echo chamber about how Mojang is out to get them.

Whenever you see someone complaining about unspecific censorship online, it's usually "I was not allowed to spread my unfounded hot takes" (or worse), not actually censorship. That's also what that subreddit is all about, just Minecraft-themed.

That "community" was never a particularly good one on the first place, ever since it was founded out of (probably valid) protest over moderation practices.

The worst thing is: Everyone who wants to set up their own AI stuff needs to deploy their own copy of those LLMs. And then they likely mostly idle along. It's such a gigantic waste of processing resources, not just the actual usage part itself, but especially also everything around it.

Your suspicion that something changed about bows is correct. Arrows start out as point projectiles and only expand to their usual collision size over something like 0.4 seconds. That change was done so you can (intentionally) shoot past nearby mobs.

Neat. I guess this takes advantage of the fact that you can left and right click on an instantly breakable block at the same time to place a new block there. (Mostly done in creative, but also a fun way to make "anvil lantern balloons" in survival by replacing a slime block with a lantern this way.)
