I might return to just Furfrou as the partner, but I want the player to have the freedom of choice

Initially, I had Furfrou as the sole partner, cuz yknow “man’s best friend”, but I later added Gastrodon and Whimsicott. Whimsicott because I really like Alpharad and Whimsicott is his favorite, and Gastrodon for water coverage, and a strong substitute for the fire type as well

my least favorite would probably have to be Akkon and Louvday. Akkon’s backstory mixes with her character design, so she just feels out of place, and Louvday looks nice, but shes forever immortalized as Shelly from ORAS in my head

by far my favorites probably have to be Grayson, Wendy, and Deirdre. Grayson's really fun to draw—ive never drawn a character with dreadlocks before—and both Wendy and Deirdre look really cool considering their backstories and lore
