I recently watched Umbrellas Of Cherbourg (1964) by Jacques Demy. Believe it or not I was told to watch it back in 2017! I don't know why I waited all this time, but man what an amazing experience it was! I immediately see where La La Land (2016) draws its atmosphere and all! What a masterpiece.
