At least they aren't peddling the lie about healthcare for illegals.
This is not the economic argument they are trying to make it. This is about ideology. GOP wants to fund taxs cuts for the wealthy. The Dems want keep to make sure those on lower income can afford medical insurance.
Any other provider would be preferable to the government. There's a reason the government doesn't usually conduct polls about themselves. Can you see why it might be considered problematic?
A few people in the primaries 6 years ago, most of whom aren't currently senators asking a vauge question about Government healthcare plans ( which includes ACA ( private insurance) ) and that's somehow proof if what's happening in the senate this week? 😂
"We can do this the easy way or the hard way. These companies can find ways to change conduct and take action, frankly, on Kimmel, or there's going to be additional work for the FCC ahead."
17, 2025, during an interview on conservative commentator Benny Johnson's podcast, FCC Chairman Brendan Carr >>threatened punitive action<< against ABC, Disney and independent owners of ABC-affiliated stations if Kimmel was not reprimanded for his monologue remarks.
Newsom said he was vetoing the legislation because he thought the bill should be considered after a state study scrutinizing health curricula was completed.
What Disney decides to do or say isn't the point. The point is the government using the FCC to try and silence speech they don't like. It's a disgrace and anyone who genuinely cares about the Constitution would be appalled.
