You could also just sand off the front if the inkjet is just printing on the pvc and then being laminated

pvc is susceptible to damage from acetone, so def dont do it on a card you care about, but i think if youre very careful it would work without damaging the antenna inside

you could maybe load the actual transit cards in a card printer (which is expensive but not unobtainable) and try printing on them directly, if that didnt work maybe some gentle application of acetone will get off the top print im not sure. im just thinking off what i know with plastics
