Well, my horror novel is officially on submission to publishers and the list is terrifying. Also, I had no idea three were so many more horror publishers than fantasy.
I know I'm supposed to ignore this and get to work on the next novel, but it's kinda eating my brain.

As a recovering live-sound engineer, I'd say the top.

I always have at least two project on the go (one in the writing stage, one in the planning stage) and often three.
The worst though is when I really fuck up and two or three end up in the dreaded editing stage at the same time and I'm stuck in Editing Hell for endless months.

One of the two is a figments of the other's imagination.

Life is strange. I have an agent at a respectable literary agency and LONG ISLAND MEMORIAL will soon be shopped to publishers. Both brain cells are stressing about what might and might not happen even though, at this point, it's utterly out of my hands.
Sanity.
Awesome.

Luckily, I am a sane and stable human, and waiting for book-related stuff to happen is not at all going to break my brain.
Uncertainty is happiness.
Not knowing the future means I can pretend it might be better than the past.

LONG ISLAND MEMORIAL is out for editing and should be back in my mad hands by mid-December. Once it's polished, the hunt will begin for an unstable literary agent with poor decision-making skills.

Surely fame and fortune will follow.
