I'll update on this account so my main one doesn't become a hospital text feed. Been in the hospital all morning today, very boring (follow up blood tests so that they can justify not treating me until I get through the waiting list). Waiting around for final (?) consultation with the surgeon.

Posting this here too even though it's embarrassing! I painted some shoes with quotes and simple imagery from The Locked Tomb (Nona the Ninth spoilers abound). Going to wear them to cons this summer so hopefully the 3 people who notice them AND recognise the references can feel seen 😜

Nooo, Vegology (www.vegologyldn.com) is closing down! What kind of world are we living in where our disappointing Taco Bell (which doesn't even cater properly to vegetarians) is fine but Vegology's delicious tikka tings and masterfully crafted vegan 'fish' won't exist any more?

Time to see whether I use this Bluesky account more than my brief Threads incarnation (who designs a platform solely for reading stuff by people you don't actually follow, anyway?!)
