I also think we need more positive masculinity in our government, and not quiet meek voices, but candidates who bench and lift and then talk about basic moral principles for their politics rather than pay lip service. Abdul is that guy

I need a candidate to have a strong moral core. Sayed demonstrated what I'm hungry for: a moral case for a better society. In a world where there doesn't seem to be a lot of moral leadership in American politics, Sayed is one of the few voices out there who demonstrated his character

It wasn't what you want to hear as a union member at a union hall. McMorrow and Sayed spoke to that moment.

Sayed though had a clear narrative, and spoke directly to his audience about why it was important.

McMorrow is a close second, but Sayed made a moral case.
