The on toggle was to remove the animations rather than allow them, for some reason. I had to toggle it off to see the recap slideshows. Kinda stupid that the phone animation settings would decide if it allows a slideshow inside an app, but then they made it an awfully animated slideshow. 🤷🏼‍♀️

Mine was letting me see I had one, but it would fly past everything and close without showing anything but a couple seconds of black screen.
