Went to see Black Sabbath - The Ballet last night. I got distracted from following the dancers, by watching the orchestra a bit at times, but it's a show well worth seeing. The orchestral arrangements of Sabbath songs are really interesting, and as a non-Balletman, the choreography was fun to watch.

Nineteen years ago today, I saw Iron Maiden for the first time. An intimate show to raise money for Clive Burr, at Hammersmith. Arguably the best setlist Iron Maiden have ever played, but definitely my favourite time seeing them, and I've seen them 25 times. Up the Irons.

Just went to look through my email to find out what seat I had for the £5 Death Magnetic launch gig at the O2 and found an email moaning about beer prices at gigs fifteen years ago. I'd cut my left arm off for those prices these days!
