My wife and I (yes I helped) made this Parmesan Tomato Cannellini Bean Soup and I had the first dark beer I have found in Valencia (it’s from Belgium). This was a hearty and delicious meal! I’ll post the recipe on the thread!

Oh between the heat and half of businesses being closed, it was a whole thing in August llol But we wanted out of the U.S. asap and that was as quick as we could do it. Now we are enjoying the cooler weather and a break from any more paperwork until next summer! 😂

I just figured out that Spain does not have soft peppermint candy…and unless I want to spend $50 to have some shipped from the U.S. and probably not make it to me, I’m out of luck this Christmas. Any other European country I can order some from by chance?

Beautiful Valencia, Spain Christmas 🎄 tree lighting tonight. Very packed in the City Hall (Ajuntamente) area but worth seeing to mark what will be our first Christmas here.
