It occurs to me, the reason we’ve not had another “Walkman” moment in consumer tech - something that fundamentally alters the way use technology - is because manufacturers aren’t concerned with making a product so good people will want to use it, feel they need it in their life,

So, I guess those of us who don’t want #AI invading our computers can’t even trust #apple anymore? First @microsoft.com sucks openAI’s tit and forces this shit onto us, now Cupertino takes another grossly anti-consumer action by forcing us to play whack-a-mole with the theft machine.

Anyone who’s updated to iOS 18.3.1. AI is on by default. You also might wanna check the “Learn from this App” settings under “Siri and Apple
Intelligence” - it’s on by default for everything, including things like credit card and bank apps #iphone #ios18 #ios #saynotoAI #noAIever #leavemydataalone
