The spade's sound stomps on my head
as my neighbour digs earth, laughing;
I cannot say—not a word,
his laughter doesn't ring but sTings.

Once I peeped at two in morn:
all I saw was a bloodstained blanket.
He caught my hand with no warn,
and I awoke in a casket...

Hanging

Torn from everywhere,
I hang onto something firm,
yet it feels like I am being hung
not once did a human care
for a human left to die—
but the crows have been
gentle.

Beside my face, the nest of crows—
I listen to the baby craws cawing,
and hear the humans going about their lives.

LIFT

I have fallen far from you.
I have lost all my hue.
Crumbling is all I know,
and all I see is woe.

My rusty hands have no life
because I have lost my heart.
Even my only beating knife
has lost and fallen apart.

Lift me up and hold me, dear.
I see, ah, my death is here.

The moon has been always there,
e'en though I drained its stars,
it is lone, pale and lies fair
while I hide away my scars.
