I guess more governmental agencies will be disappearing soon 🤬?!
OSHA has repeatedly fined Elon Musk’s companies for serious safety violations. Granting him and his associates access to the agency’s files is an obvious conflict of interest, and would likely discourage workers from filing future complaints.
What Will DOGE’s Moves on Government Agencies Mean for OSHA?
Unions took to the streets—and the courts—to try to keep Elon Musk’s initiative out of the Labor Department.

Don’t just say DEI as if it’s a bad word. Spell it out.

Say diversity, which is the lifeblood of American society & culture & innovation.

Say equity, which a just society should pursue.

Say inclusion, because decent people believe in increasing belonging, not isolating people who are different.

The incompetency of this new administration affects EVERYTHING, even advancements of scientific and medical research. Disgraceful.

That language was gone Monday morning. Some of it was later restored — but not all of it.

This pertains to science, the recent purging of DEI by the current administration and the consequences it can have. It is very damaging.

“Bluesky is much better for science. There is much less toxicity, misinformation, and distractions,” wrote one respondent. “My feed is almost entirely scientists and I actually get updates on research that is relevant and timely,” wrote another.”

I wonder if their letter will make a difference or not? All of the president-elect’s cabinet choices have been disturbing 😳.
More than 75 Nobel Prize winners signed a letter urging senators not to confirm Robert F. Kennedy Jr. to lead the Department of Health and Human Services. The letter marks the first time in recent memory that Nobel laureates have banded together against a cabinet choice. nyti.ms/41uQueD
