ALONE IN SPACE is a short sci-fi horror comic written by me and illustrated by @ilmozzo.bsky.social. I originally wrote it as a short story for a horror anthology podcast and later reworked it as a 4-page comic. 🚀

But I guess Dracula 2000 is superior by default for having Nathan Fillion as Hot Priest and Jerry Butler as Hot Topic Dracula.

My first big discovery of 2026 was that there is a movie called Dracula 2000 and a movie called Dracula 3000, yet they have absolutely nothing in common other than they both have Dracula (and I guess Van Helsing) in them.

I appriciate the themes that the newest Black Christmas was going for, but oh boy... they really used the nuance of a sledgehammer to do it. #LetterboxdFriday

When it comes to the RPG narrative choices, Outer Worlds 2 is definitely an improvement over the first game, though I must admit that where it truly shines is when you're just roaming the world while listening to one of the in-game radio stations.

If I could also add a couple: Die Spitz and The Pinky Rings. Both relatively new punk-rock girl bands from Austin, Texas. Both pretty great.

Coincidentally I started listening to two punk rock girl bands from Austin Texas pretty much at the same time and both are great but the problem is that I often have trouble telling them apart.

Some light reading between matches.

I never liked Hal Jordan very much, but if anybody could change my opinion, it's Kyle Chandler.

HELBOY: THE CROOKED MAN is a solid horror movie and a solid adaptation of Mike Mignola's comics. Sure, it could have benefited from a higher budget, but all the hate in got from the OG Hellboy movies fans was pretty unfair. For my money, this is far better than the 2019 David Harbour reboot attempt.

And look what I found today in a small comic book store in Brno. :)

Yeah, that's really not how that works, buddy.

Kinda ironic to make something about misinformation using AI.

Yes, our architecture is pretty unique (Hollywood also loves to shoot in Prague). I have no idea what your schedule or plans are, but if you happen to travel through or near Brno, be sure to also stop by. :)

The immortal youth of Annabeth Gish and Gillian Anderson was the true X-File all along.

My very first book from @hardcasecrime.bsky.social and I already know that I'm going to need to buy more. Great stories with with great atmosphere and even greater cover art.

The newly revealed U.S.S. Enterprise-D kinda confirms to me that, as opposed to the Star Wars ships that look purposefully rough and beat down, the Star Trek ships are usually too slick and clean to really look good in LEGO form.

The minifigs are neat, though.

Hey, @echohorror.com. Shouldn't this come with a dust jacket? I'm gonna contact the e-shop I got this from, of course, but I just want to make sure this isn't by design. Thanks!

Also I went to check the movie on Letterboxd afterwards and… what the hell is this poster supposed to be? Was somebody trying to sell this as a Roland Emmerich blockbuster?

So my Blu-ray of Frank Darabont's THE MIST has this glitch where it freezes on pretty much this exact frame and then jumps to when Thomas Jane's character is already out of the car, therefore skipping the most horrific scene of the whole movie seemingly on purpose.

Can't say I blame it, though.
