#booksky Current read: The Dazzling Darkness by @paulacappa.bsky.social This is def a #supernaturalthriller w/ a missing child, mystical powers of a crystal skull, #transcendentalism and Emerson. My fave? The author's masterful settings: the murky woods, the creepy graveyard. I'm loving it!

#booksky This week I'm onto another #retelling. This is a terrific read. Categorized as #YA because of the #romance aspect (I think), but don't be fooled! It delivers #gothic #horror #fantasy. Love how Lauren Blackwood brings out the backstory thru action & dialogue. Awesome! Have you read?
