I think the thing that makes no sense is the narrative. It’s not “grooming,” but rather acceptance. If a kid comes to you with feelings and confused thoughts, one is just supposed to neglect them? Ignore them? Brush it off? Why is this so important to them, to make kids feel alone and alienated?
