my leg did NOT work properly, lemme tell you. it was still in pain even tho i couldnt feel it. (fyi that injury took me a year to heal after i graduated. it was my last season. thankfully no permanent damage... well... not much.)
im in pain daily and dont used pain killers because i will overdo it

and like when i sprained/mildly fractured my ankle in highschool... i didnt go to the doctor, stupid i know. it was a full, stuck in the mud, twist, snap and pop that my teamates heard from across a soccer field. and id load up on Tylenol and motrin and play on it after two weeks. my leg did NOT

And like when I get migraines from my period, if the pain meds work I stop feeling the pain of them. But I don't stop seeing aura's or having light sensitivity. I don't stop being dizzy. And oh the period shits. I might not feel my cramps, but im. Still. Cramping. So I get the shits. It's great.

So, for example, menstrual pain (since it's the kind I'm most familiar with). I can take midol or something and it will definitely work to make specifically the pain stop... But I still feel weak, my legs still shake, my stomach still gets nauseous, and I'm still tired.

no seriously... im build for balmy weather not.. this. and worse i live in a very humid state. the heat sticks to you even with the AC going.
