Of all the things you could be bombarded with, bean recipes are some of the more enjoyable options.

Roughly chop some garlic cloves & saute in oil (ideally, add some whole fennel seeds & tomato paste)

Add 2 cans drained white beans eg. cannellini, 1/2 can chopped tomatoes, & juice & zest (cut in large strips) of 1 orange. Simmer for ~5min and season. Best served with a big splash of olive oil.
