Which is a strong invitation to read between the lines ...

Now we can enjoy it for the whole international break.

I'm no fan of Donald Trump, but those two highlighted passages aren't obviously inconsistent (even if you may in fact be correct that he always planned to follow Project 2025).

Apparently the resulting dick foundation is thriving these days.

Arsenal supporter here, but wanting to understand. It looked to me as though the ball was heading out left some time before Gyokeres was taken out, so he wouldn't obviously have scored. Am I missing something?

That aged beautifully!

And now I'm desperate to know even though I'd never heard of it.

It's not obvious to me that it wouldn't be better to ignore Trump when he says something as evidently stupid as this. Taking the trouble to issue a correction somehow gives the impression that he is a reasonable person making an honest mistake, which he clearly isn't.

Many thanks to the sender of an email that includes the heartwarming sentence, "I have long admired your contributions to mathematics, particularly [insert their field or specific result you respect]."

In your article you talk about the trade-off between growth and climate impacts. I'd be interested in more detail about how that trade-off is supposed to have played out in this instance.

Our project is to create a database of what we call "structured motivated proofs". For more details about this, and for information about how you can get involved (if you have suitable skills), see a blog post I have just written.

Creating a database of motivated proofs
It’s been over three years since my last post on this blog and I have sometimes been asked, understandably, whether the project I announced in my previous post was actually happening. The ans…

Happy to be able to say that my automatic theorem proving group in Cambridge submitted a successful bid to the AI for Math Fund, launched this year by Renaissance Philanthropy and XTX Markets. Here is the fund website, which contains descriptions of all the 29 projects to be funded.

I greatly enjoyed Guy Shrubsole's book with the same title, and from the review it looks as though I would enjoy learning about the situation in Ireland.

The way I use it, it does indeed facilitate rinsing. In fact, I do two rinses -- a quick one beforehand so I can keep the water in the bowl reasonably clean and ungreasy, and another one afterwards to get rid of the suds. Works beautifully.

I'm British and a strong supporter both of rinsing and of washing-up bowls.

I detest Reform as much as you do, but maybe the decision is based not just on the number of seats. The fact that Reform is consistently coming top in opinion polls is surely also relevant. (Of course, the publicity they get almost certainly contributes to that, which is annoying.)

Would the constituents you are talking about prefer hotel rooms to their own homes?

We had been invited there to form a panel to talk about my late father and his contribution to the series, which was to write the music for it. The resulting discussion has just been put up on YouTube. 2/2

Around a year ago my mother, my two sisters and I attended an event of a kind we would never normally go to: a celebration for fans of a TV series, who came from all over the world. The series in question was Granada TV's version of Sherlock Holmes, starring Jeremy Brett. 1/2

Clearly not the main point here, but this racist is not even competent at expressing his racism: someone who raised a Series C by claiming to have a serious project to turn the moon into a quantum computer would be committing fraud on a grand scale.
