We have records of Red Squirrels using forests in mid-Wales for over 20 years. The Bryn Cadwgan Energy Park threatens to destroy the forests they call home.

We’re in a biodiversity crisis with 1 in 6 species at risk of extinction in Wales. We can’t afford to lose another iconic species from our landscape.

There are only three Red Squirrel populations remaining in the whole of Wales, and the population in mid-Wales is now under threat. We need your help to protect their home from development.

For over 20 years, we’ve been working to protect Red Squirrels in mid-Wales but now a wind farm development threatens to destroy one of the few forests they still call home & push this population to extinction.

We've been inviting the local community to come and meet our grazing herds at Ystradfawr and Allt Rhongyr! 🐮

These events have been a great way for people to learn about the benefits of conservation grazing and how to safely interact with cattle.

Celebrating a fresh start at Cartersford 🌳

We have officially signed the lease meaning the work can now begin to transform this felled forest into a haven for wildlife! We celebrated the occasion with The Gower Society, our Swansea Local Group and volunteers.

Last week our Wilder Engagement Officer, Marianne, spent a few days on Skomer helping the island team run a youth event with Black2Nature. The group got stuck in with rock pooling, sea watching and even helped researchers with their monitoring of Manx Shearwater chicks!
