Video of the day: caribou munchin’ on bearflower.

Researchers used GPS video collars to track hungry habits of the Fortymile herd in North America. Results show they ate less due to a warming climate & increased pesky insects!

Now, the bite-sized data is helping guide their future conservation. 🧡

POV you're a reindeer refuelling after the big day out.

[Alt text: Camera footage from the neck of a caribou shows its chin leaning to the ground and ripping grasses as it munches away. To the left are other caribou doing the same as they forage for food in the daylight.]

It’s been a tough year for nature, but there are reasons for hope. 💚

From Nepal’s landmark snow leopard survey to the first satellite-tagged hawksbill turtles in Fiji, this year gave us real wildlife wins to celebrate. 👏

Together, we can bring our world back to life. 🌍

Even a cat this powerful needs protection from poachers. 💔

A century ago = around 100,000 tigers
15 years ago = as few as 3,200
Today = around 5,700

We're making progress, but tigers are still in trouble.

Gift a gift that lasts this Christmas. 🎁👇
