tbf at least one of my biggest pet pieve of “the other/taller/shorter/etc. woman” almost never appears unless the adjective actually means sth in context besides just trying to make the reader distinguish between them .. unfortunately too many authors still don’t know what an octave is 😭

i mean … true.. but this book (and hopefully its sequels) are also insaaanely good. only thing i’d have to say is a trigger warning for rape. no graphic description but dealing with the ptsd caused by it and bad nightmares that thankfully don’t go into much detail
