Yeah you can definitely mix them. :) Superchargers has done this with its story. Although they still do lean into the sillier stuff a lot, so you could tone that down and it’d be perfect for your game.

I think having a good mix of silly humor and some serious themes is good. A bit like how Undertale does it. It’s not overly edgy but not too childish either.
