I had few barriers to care and it didn’t matter. When I 1st had symptoms I was told I was too young and it wasn’t possible. Next doc said I could go to a neurologist for migraines. I spent two years suffering with nightly heart palpitations thinking I was dying. My barrier was being female.

I am inundated with email and I am not on Facebook much so I miss things. There is no newspaper here covering local campaigns and I don’t watch cable TV not that the news covers much anyway. I often have no idea what is going on even with charities I was once involved.

Vaccines are a triumph of human ingenuity, modern medicine and public health. With them, we have beaten back smallpox, chickenpox, yellow fever, polio, measles, mumps, rubella, hepatitis B, Covid, meningitis and more.

None of these changes are evidence-based. All of them run counter to what the C.D.C.’s own experts (and most of the nation’s leading medical groups) have advised. And all are likely to sow confusion, undermine public trust and ultimately drive the nation’s vaccination rates down.
