Long range & medium range models don't do mesoscale systems as well as high resolution ones & those high resolution models only start to come online about 48 hours out (give or take). Personally, I'd be curious to see the probabilistic info and see IF this scenario was within the statistics. (2/3)

I'm not a fan of Trump by any means. However, there were multiple watches and warnings issued. This flood watch was issued on July 3rd.
