My rating for Tyler, The Creator: Don't Tap on the Glass. I felt this album gave a late 80s feel sonically. The beats felt like groups something Club Nouveau or Jody Whatley would sing over if they came out in the modern era. Most of them had a groove to them.

My rating for Slick Rick: Victory. This album is interesting to me. I felt that Ricky D did a good job doing what he does which is tell good stories. Landlord is a stand out for that. The problem is the hooks weren't good. Also the skits seems to slow down the flow of the album.

My rating for Big L: Harlem's Finest: Return of the King. I thought the album was decent. My major gripe with it is I feel like L would've have picked the beats they did. They were bad, just didn't seem to fit imo with the exception of the tuned up freestyles and live performance.
