We've learned in this second Trump regime that there is a law on the books to excuse any abuse of power or abandonment of civil rights. Authoritarian autocrats cannot be stopped in our system of government. It was always on the honor system.

Sorry I was unclear in my comment. I was referring to the article you cited and using you in a general sense. My point was meant to say that if white people think they can escape Trump's assault on civil rights they are mistaken and will find their rights violated in the future. Sorry for any grief

Disagree. It's also logical that white men with excessive money and power influence justice in the US. And more likely, it's no secret that intelligence services use sexual perversions to manipulate political and government figures.

Get your point, but our two party system requires a big tent to win national office. Multiple small parties don't have enough power and influence. We would need a multiparty parliamentary system that requires coalitions and compromise between a number of parties to make the "big tent" obsolete.
