YES. I know thats literally not whats happening lol. Samus is probably the only competent professional in the galaxy, but the thought of 'scanslop' crept into my brain and I can't stop thinking about it.

I always thought about the visor entries as Samus being curious and having an interest in nature, history and science.
its just that the visor summaries are so obvious sometimes it reminded me about how people just use Al to summarize everything and don't bother thinking for themselves.
