Reading “Mother is Watching” by Karma Brown while it’s 46 degrees outside. Questioning my decision to buy a chilly drink 😱🥶

Life has been doing its thing, but I’ve finally created space enough to breathe. Indulging in a lazy morning with a coffee and “Overgrowth” by Mira Grant (@seananmcguire.bsky.social). I love plant aliens 💙📚🩸

Is this what they mean when they say, “That girl has range”? 😂 (It isn’t.)

• “Siddhartha” by Hermann Hesse

Thrilled to serve as a judge for #SFINCS3! 💙📚🩸🪐

Indie authors don’t receive the recognition they deserve. #SFINCS encourages indie spec fic authors to share their stories with a community eager to hear them.

Thanks to the 100 authors who took the leap. I feel honored to read your creations.❤️

August top reads 📚💙🩸🪐

1. Just a guy with a dream who can’t catch a break. Cue that Chumbawamba track.
2. Beware of secret doors to alternate Earths, talking marmots, and being pouched. You may like the pouch though.
3. I also love my sister, cats, and intimidating those who derail my routine.

On average, 9/10 books I read are fiction. Call it escapism, if you must.

With nonfiction, I tend to be drawn to themes of interconnection and equality, which naturally lend themselves to social justice and the natural environment. Hoping for a glimpse of hope in “The Serviceberry” 📚💙💡🌱

The Wheel made me do it. The Wheel knows what I crave. The Wheel is omniscient.

Here’s my recent #LOTR rebind feat. the One Ring, the two towers, the crown of Gondor, and a bookmark with the 9 rings for mortal men. Be warned: one does not simply transcribe into #Tengwar.

Any guesses on what the back cover says?

Book: Fate of the Five - Veil of Vasara
Author: Niamh Rose (@niamhrosewrites.bsky.social)
Rating: 5/5 ⭐️
Full review: app.thestorygraph.com/reviews/f618...

Niamh is GIVING in FOTF—magic, games and trials, political intrigue, plot twists and betrayals, and the most deliciously torturous slow burn.
