Do any #dungeonmasters have experience with running essentially 2 parties but it is the same group of players? I have 1 player in an alternate dimension & 3 in the material plane & want all 4 of them to have back up characters so there is 2 parties. My goal is it to end with 2 fights @ the same time

Usually I dont talk about #fantasyfootball on here but JSN has been keeping my mental stability going strong for the last few weeks almost single handedly.

It is so fun when you do new game plus in #Persona5Royal and there is a scripted event that leads to Ryuji awakening his Persona with the top tier weapons and the Bicorn's just cant die.

Question for the #Persona fans I have completed Persona 5 Royal and am working my way through Persona 3 Reload should I play Persona 4 Golden or just wait for Revival when I finish P3R?

One of my players left the game due to being too busy & now I might be having a new player join, they will have played 1 session ever and I'm thinking of running a low level mini campaign to catch up to the rest of the group in levels & get familiar with the game

This will get me to watch a full campaign of Critical Role. I fully respect the show but it was already in it's swing when I got really into dnd and #D20 was my first continuous actual play show to watch. Don't come for me critters.

So how are you all dealing with an accidental #TPK when you want your players to stay alive I want to keep my players alive but sometimes you make an encounter that is iffy and you roll just a bit too good. Should I have them escaping from the afterlife or just have a reset of the campaign? #dnd #5e

#dnd session ended mid combat and I am no less worried about my PC's making it through this combat!!! I want them to survive but I can't pull my punches to take it too easy on the group.

I love my players in my current campaign but I don't think they realize even though I do not do as much work as some DM's for a game I do infinitely more work on the game than any of them do. All I ask for is a tiny bit of respect while running the game and not to see dice towers
