I’ve been awaiting a TU for some time. #W7L.L fundamentals are good - cash in the bank and a healthy dividend yield - so even an ‘in line’ update should be supportive to the SP IMHO.

For sure. There are plenty of examples of highly leveraged buy and sell trades executed just hours before major Trump announcements.

For the first time this winter it was worth getting up early! Bethell played well. He was a bit lucky with his first scoring shot that could have landed anywhere but he looked in control after that. It was a surprise when he got out. The match was more or less won by then.

Personally I thought Mobland was excellent and I’d also put in a shout for ‘The Beast In Me’, ‘This City Is Ours’ and ‘Down Cemetery Road’.

It’s a shame that the FinTwit side of Bluesky seems to be losing momentum these days (with a few honourable exceptions). There’s definitely more financial data and opinion on X as you say, but so much junk, spam and nonsense too.

Painful to watch it slowly slipping away. Leaving aside selection issues, England just seem woefully underprepared. I really don’t understand why they didn’t play 3 or 4 Sheffield Shield teams to prepare - get used to the light, the pitches, the sledging etc. 🏏 #Ashes

What’s more, Starc has only batted 3 times whereas all the English batsmen have had 5 innings. It’s unbelievable!

The fact that Mitchell Starc (opening bowler for Australia who bats at #9) has scored more runs in the series than any English player bar Joe Root says it all. #Ashes
