It’s Gakpo btw, first time I thought it was a spelling mistake but you’ve said it twice now.

Salah will be lucky to play for the club again unless he makes a big apology. He’s not bigger than the team, is my point, even if he thinks he is.

I’m having to spell it out as you don’t get it 😂. Stopping in the mixed zone and blasting the manager plus teammates - that says you think you’re bigger than the team.

Konate picked because no alternative at cb
Gakpo has been awful but has more G+A than Salah
Isak is politics of expensive player

“I am on the bench for three games so I can't say they keep the promises”

That is where he implies his position is guaranteed. He lost his place in the team due to bad form but thinks he deserves to start. All the players and the manager are grieving also.

No one player is bigger than the team.

Clearly implying there’s some form of guaranteed starter promise

“The third time on the bench, I think for the first time in my career. I'm very, very disappointed... I have done so much for this club down the years and especially last season… I got a lot of promises in the summer and so far I am on the bench for three games so I can't say they keep the promises”

How can they not the same as each other? Both imply starting spot can be a privilege given to a player who’s done well in the past, over their present ability.

Taking Salah out of the starting xi has resulted in no defeats in past 3 games. He’s been given plenty of chances - started 12/15 PL games

Right to play through bad form = earning spot via previous performances. Only player on earth worthy of that is Messi.

It’s poor and uncharacteristic from a player who’s prided themselves on maintaining their own high standards.

Slot may be part of the issue but Mo needs to take responsibility.

Totally agree, I don’t think anyone in their right mind could imagine him being ahead of Mbappe, Vini Jr, Bellingham in the pecking order
