I suspect this is part of the reason cover band supergroup At The Movies did albums for 80s and 90s film anthems, then stopped: because they kinda dried up after that.

8. Revitalize the "goofy/obscene doodles drawn in the margins" art form

Depends what you wanna get out of it. It's a good way to keep up with people you already like without the extra BS, and it's a level playing field for just seeing what people are talking about. But as a means to attract new followers, it kinda sucks with no exposure algorithms.
