If you're interested in listening to such ideas, here is a video called "Our culture is Eating Itself" by SolarSands.

[I don't recall it %100, but i remember it reassured my thoughts and feelings a lot back then.]

To me both has different artistic "main focus", but I agree on artists not trying to find reference/insprations beyond popular imagery.
I guess every era is dominated by particular ideas and subjects. It's just a bit more obnoxious in the age or internet and "infinite" resources.

Honestly the feeling is a strong one, but I try comfort myself by looking at my own "muses".

We are all mimicing eachother all the time, myself isn't an exception.

We're never *%100* original, but the "execution" makes the difference.

Is that a conclusion of "personal preferences changing" or "not getting enough interaction/bread money" ?

If it's the first one, then it's easier to fix. Not easy but could have some fun, while you have a long road of analyzing what kind of artwork is interesting.

Otherwise, I just hope for you.

The problem for me is how other sites overwhelm my brain yet are able suck my attention like a blackhole. This is why I now prefer "under-developed" platforms .

However you're right on your point, because it's really hard achieve a connectedness/followers here compared to those big platforms.

This is both hilarious and hearth-warming.
