I agree with you. While I still love my leather, I'm not involved with the "community" as a group for the very reasons you mention.

We have hummingbird feeders up front. We also have chickens so there are plenty of birds that come and feed with them. Our wildflower patch in the back draws a lot of insects and birds there also.
