The strength of octopath for me was always the separate stories/journeys of each character. Good stories with adult subject matter. You have variety and flexibility to do what you want, make your own path through the game. I don't think every game needs a single cohesive story.

Happy I upgraded last year to 9800x3d build. The memory I got doubled in cost. Didn't get a video card tho, still rocking a 3090ti. Was fearing increased cost due to tariffs, not this.
