Most of my PlayStation time is treadmill time. Not to get too mathy but looks like 1000 miles in Path of exile 2 this year minimum.

I have wanted to run the Western States 100 for over twenty years. Today I was finally able to enter the the lottery. While I don’t expect to get in this round, I’m excited to start the journey!

Today is my last day of summer break ( we don’t count weekends) and it has been such a great summer of reading, gaming and running. Still more in my backlog but happy to have made a small dent.

The annual Xanth birthday ultra has concluded! In lieu of miles I opted for kilometers as I’m still recovering from the 100 last month. Started and ended with a great @diablo.blizzard.com run on the hardcore sorc.
Happy to report even with the change in distance I still pulled off the victory!

Slowly starting to recover post 100. Still slow, and sore, but feeling much better than expected given the volume on my legs.

Finally finished a hundred miler. It wasn’t pretty;it was hot;my training was upended by a respiratory infection;I swelled up like a balloon. However, I hallucinated @snowbikemike.bsky.social telling me “you got this Dawg” and gutted it out to the end.
