It’s really winter but I was craving the ocean so went out to McClures beach for hike #49. I almost repeated Abbotts Lagoon but this is the year of diversification in my trails. It was cold, windy, and there were a ton of Elk on the way.

Digging up and oldie for #sotd today. Hanae Mori was a daily for quite a long while. It’s very light and I do get a lot of ylang ylang/jasmine with the fruit. An easy wear.

Sonoma’s fog called for hike #48 just north of town square. Lots of polite people, deer, and about 50 turkeys (that was not zoomed).

After 6 years I was welcomed back with open arms (and yes hugs). This onboarding is going to be rough but my health is worth it. Now to choose (again) my secondary team/gym by my house as this is too far for the full program. I might even use an app this time! #gymsky #olympiclifting

Hike #47 was beautiful in the rain in Lakeville at Tolay Lake but the back half was uneven clay mud so a bit frustrating. Saved by extra shoes in my trunk so I didn’t have to deep clean the interior mats.

It was hard shutting down my company years ago, harder to recycle the last vestiges. I still can’t part with my soap stamp 🫤

Happy birthday to ME! Did I drive over 60 miles to my favourite redwood grove up in Guerneville at Armstrong Redwoods SP? Absolutely. It was foggy, wet, and quiet to start year #50. Nice and chill way start to the day. Did the easy loops, my hip hurt anyway.

#sotd is Blood Rose by BPAL. Damn, I love this. Strong rose mixed with Dragons Blood and wine. Crazy longevity. This one is in your face and I’m here for it. (I also turned my bpal bottles into rollers)

High pain day for hike #45. Needed something close, easy, and with as little turns as possible because my right hand is not doing dexterity things. Just popped up to Petaluma to some wetlands at Shollenberger Park. Got even better when my new sunscreen started to burn my eyes. *sigh*
