Further to the Thanksgiving thing two days ago the Caps were in the 8th spot, here is where they are after last night. If they get those 3 points in the next two games that is 27 points. Teams having games in hand and loser points are making it so hard to make up ground. #ALLCAPS

These 5 on 5 numbers are very impressive. +16 goal differential is 2nd in the league. Overall goal differential is +6 though so special teams is -10. Need to get that sorted. #ALLCAPS

The power play is obviously trash but the five on five process and results have been solid to this point. Fourth in expected goals % and second in actual goals %. #ALLCAPS
