Kiln opening today, cone 7 reduction (I planned for cone 6 but held it at temp a bit long). This included my first attempt at making glaze, a tenmoku recipe from Glazy. Happy but I need to be careful with pinholes and rim application.

Today, I deactivated Instagram, for a working artist this was a very tricky decision. I didn’t have a huge number of followers but the 7k I had really supported my work so it’s very scary to step away from. Friends here, please help me out by liking & sharing my posts, it would mean so much to me.

Hate group under the pretense of church. These people are dangerous, and capitalizing on the most vulnerable (their members) as well as spreading hate. They're not a church.

These went off to get fired just before the holiday and I learned a bunch from doing them, but next time I will be more choosy. This was the first lot I did at home so lots of beginners mistakes.

Off to get cooked tomorrow, wish me luck it’s already cracked a bit and the foot fell off

Current work in progress. About 30cm tall. Needs some more work before I dry it for firing, but it's hollowed out now.
