Sometimes I just want to tell my alcoholic parent everything I hold back from not telling them, but I know in the end it wouldn’t get me anyway. However, I do know I am not responsible for the reaction I get from the alcoholic. Maybe this holiday season I will say something. Who knows?! #ACoA

A friend of mine upset me today when he confronted me about something I said when I was under the influence. I apologized and they thanked me for such apology. I think the reason I am upset is because I feel like my friends would hold it against me like my mother holds grudges over me. I don’t know.
