Thinking about that time like 2 weeks ago when a customer found out I was an artist and asked “do you make a living at it?”
And i looked him in the eye while ringing up his stuff and said “I wouldn’t be here if I did”.

Shouts out to my mom for coming to the art show I was a part of at Stud. was her first time going to a gay bar and she had so much fun. She also went to her first protest yesterday. Very proud of her she’s been so doing her best lately.

Did a little more work on the technicolor nightmare last night. Reinforced the buttons and back seam, as well as finally finished painting the inside trim.Wouldn’t normally sell something I put 40+ hours of work into, but it’s way too big for me and I wanna see it get worn. #upcycle #handpaintedcoat

Trying to edit photos of paintings for printing and I can’t figure out how to get ride of the glare. It was super difficult shooting to even minimize the glare this much, so if anyone has advice I’d gladly hear it (short of just paying for professional art capture cuz I can’t afford it)

Piece I made for @fiendfunky.bsky.social ‘s birthday a couple weeks ago/ kinda what we consider our anniversary. Two years ago I dragged her to her very first punk show on her 21st birthday. One of the bands had brought a severed pigs head on a pike. Someone threw it. It hit me in the face.

Block print I made and sold at work for a while. All the proceeds were donated to the Transgender Law Center (not that there was much I think I made like $75)
