Honeycrisps are good. Red Prince apples are great too (I might actually prefer them to Honeycrisp 🫢), but they seem to be rather elusive. Probably for the best though 😢

I have aphantasia, so I just get annoyed when there’s so much describing of characters, outfits etc (& have DNFd plenty of books for it… I don’t need to know what colour the corset is of this side character every time she pops up thx 😅).
All that to say, I definitely prefer vague descriptions.

Yeah, I know one author that has at least 5 pen names.
I actually started tracking pen names in my book database because I can’t keep track of them anymore.
Like, if I can read a book, surely I can read a blurb, tags, content notes etc to determine if x book if different from the rest?

Tbh, the multiple pen names drives me nuts (especially when it’s not made known it’s X as Y).
I’ve picked up a book from an author & realized it’s an author I dislike just under a different name.
I’ve also not realized an author I enjoy has a bunch of other books, just under a different name.

My sewing machine decided to throw a tantrum at the 11th hour. Bobbin ran out, stitches wouldn’t stay in, second bobbin ran out (and it would have been plenty if the stitches didn’t need to be sewn literally 5x on one cuff)— but it’s finally done.

I figured out the collar on the first try. Time to quit for the night, before I mess something up 😅 … I’m thrilled with the progress I made today though.

Today we tackle the diamonds.
I ended up finding new blue material— I was worried I didn’t have enough of the old stuff. It’s very slippy.
I don’t have hem tape (nor have I ever used it), sewing clips won’t work, pins will leave holes… so I’m using painter’s tape… and it’s working out well.
